Travelling the world offers a giant spring to draw inspiration from. Be it foreign places, random situations, interesting people, local music and the countless musicians that will cross your path. Julien combines a mix of acoustic Folk, some Jazz beats, hints of Gospel, his love for Accappella music and his attraction to insightful lyrics to create a wonderful listening experience to reflect, inspire and heal.
While living in Sydney Julien made a name for himself as “TuxGuy” (Guy in a Tuxedo) singing Frank Sinatra songs in the streets at night. One year later he put together a jazz band which was entitled to be the first music group ever to receive a busking license for Darling Harbour. They recorded their album “Seaside” at Nut ‘n’ Butter Studios in Sydney in 2010.
